Donation & Monetization Policy

Our commitment

Aftermath Gaming follows Bohemia Interactive's DayZ Server Monetization Policy (bohemia.net/monetization). We are committed to a fair and balanced game for every player. We will never sell in-game advantages, gear, or gameplay perks.

We acknowledge and agree to:

  Not offer anything that gives a gameplay advantage.
• ✓
  Keep everything we offer cosmetic, community-based, or queue priority only.
• ✓
  Remove or change anything immediately if it is found to break Bohemia's policy.

About the server

Aftermath Gaming is a community-run, modded DayZ server on Chernarus+. It has 62 slots, supports first and third person, and wipes about every 90 days. The server is open to everyone. Anyone can join and play the whole game for free, and not donating never blocks access to any content.

Why we accept donations

Running a modded DayZ server has ongoing costs. Donations go toward:

  Dedicated server hosting (about $80 a month)
• ●
  Game server costs
• ●
  The website and Discord bot hosting
• ●
  Community tools, plugins, and the time it takes to build and maintain the server

No profit is taken. All donations go directly to server operations and improvements.

What supporters receive

Donating is optional and is a thank-you, never a way to buy power.

Community supporter perk

A small donation with a community perk. It is on Discord, not in the game world.

Cosmetic rewards

Supporters can also ask for rewards that only change how something looks. Staff agree the reward and the donation amount in a ticket first.

  Looks. Custom skins for clothing, armour, helmets, guns and helicopters. Custom flags, wallpapers and billboards.

  Discord. A custom Discord name colour, a clan role and colour, and a private clan channel in our Discord.
• ✓
  Name and tag. Coloured clan tag, killfeed colour, and a custom icon on your name tag.
• ✓
  Custom 3D objects. A new decorative model made for you and added to the server.

The priority queue

A reserved slot only lets a supporter into the server ahead of the queue when the server is full. It lets supporters join faster. Nothing more. Reserved slots are offered for 1 month, 3 months or 6 months.

What the priority queue does not include

  No in-game items or gear
• ✗
  No spawning advantages
• ✗
  No exclusive areas or zones
• ✗
  No gameplay modifications of any kind

Once inside, a supporter has exactly the same game as everyone else.

How custom items work

  Looks only. Custom skins and objects use the normal base game or server content with no change to stats, damage, health or any other value. A reskinned item is exactly the same as the normal one.

  Decorative. Custom 3D objects are decorative. They do not give any ability or advantage.
• ●
  Open server. The server is open to every player at all times. Not donating never keeps anyone out of any content.

What we will never do

Nothing is given, sold or promised in exchange for a donation if it helps a player play better than anyone else. Free players and supporters have the same combat, loot and survival.

  No weapons, ammo, gear, loot, or loadouts

  No trader discounts or better trader prices

  No extra storage, bigger bases, or stronger base parts

  No in-game currency, spawn kits, or starter loadouts
• ✗
  No stats, damage, health, or any other gameplay change on skins or rewards
• ✗
  No help with raiding, fighting, or progressing faster

Transparency

  Public terms. Everything supporters can receive is on this page. Staff tell you what a reward is before you donate.

  Records. We keep records of donations and what was given for them, and will share them with Bohemia Interactive if asked.
• ●
  Changes. If we change what we offer, we tell the community before it takes effect, and check it still follows Bohemia's policy.
• ●
  Concerns. If you think we are not following these rules, tell us on Discord. We will answer and fix it. Our community's trust matters more than any donation.

How donating works

  Open a ticket on our Discord or on the report page and tell us what you would like.
• 2.
  Staff confirm the reward and the donation amount with you in the ticket.
• 3.
  We set it up. Roles are applied within 24 hours. Custom work is made to your brief, and we show you the result before it goes live.
